  Memory Foam Mattress comparison
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT MEMORY FOAM MATTRESS TO BUY????

The National Brand is the one ALL companies try to copy to bring an affordable, alternative foam mattress to the consumer. With the popularity of the National Brand every one CLAIMS to have the same quality memory foam bed.

Let us explain exactly where our memory foam mattress fits into the market. Click here to read the independent review and comparison done by Money® Magazine comparing our Memory foam 1000 mattress vs. Tempur- Pedic ® brand classic mattress. http://emattress.com/brand_comparison.htm
About our memory foam beds
First we will look at the overall construction of our beds.

A. It starts with the support Foam.
Our mattresses use 2.6 lb density LX formulated urethane base foam. LX formulation has a stronger cell structure than most conventional HR or HD urethane foams, (which generally have a 1.6 to 1.8 lb). density. This is the same foam we use in our Hospital and Hotel use beds. Hospitals have the need for more durable, longer lasting materials due to the amount of use.

We offer 3 different memory foam densities

1. 4 lb. Density memory foam, which is used in our Memory foam 400 mattress. This is softer feeling memory foam for customers that find the National brand to be too firm. The lower density will allow a softer, more pressure relieving sleep surface and a more affordable price. It is also used for persons suffering from extremely sensitive joints and conditions like Fibromyalgia syndrome. The lower density memory foam however does come with a trade off, life expectancy of the mattress. Our research and testing has shown that because of the thinner cell walls to create a softer feel, the foam is more likely to break down and lose resiliency over time with normal use. That does not mean you should not consider 4lb. density memory foam, we simply educate you on what to except from the foam. We will never try to OVERSELL the products we manufacture, only educate and help you decide what may be the best product for your immediate needs and budget.
5.34 lb density memory foam. This is the most common memory foam density. The main difference between ours and most competitors (other than the name brand) is the cell structure. Memory foam, like all other foams is made in several different compositions, all may have a similar density but react to the body, have a different feel and have different life spans of resiliency. Not all memory foam, (even the same density), is the same. That would be like saying all water tastes the same. Its water so it should all be the same, not the case obviously that’s why water is now a billion dollar industry. Can you image, water? Opps anyway back to the foam. This is really why Tempur-pedic has such a following, its top quality foam mattress. That’s why our memory foam mattress was named “Top Quality for Less”, because it’s so similar. If all memory foam beds that were 5 lb density were also the same then maybe the article would have chosen ALL other memory foam mattresses, not just our memory foam 1000 mattress.
6 lb density memory foam. Available upon request or recommendation of our sleep specialists during consultation. A foam mattress constructed with 6lb. density memory foam is a firmer feel than the national brand. We recommend it for a body weight of over 300 lbs.
B. Bonding the base foam and the comfort layer
All of our base foam and our memory foam comfort layers are bonded together. This will add to the overall life of the mattress and reduce heat build up. When bonded there is no shifting, or friction between the two layers. Some companies will not bond the mattress layers calling it “an interchangeable mattress”. The reason for this in most cases is these companies are “resellers” buying pre cut slabs of foam and do not have the manufacturing facility to properly bond the foam into a real mattress. Have you ever seen a Name brand mattress with layers that were not bonded?
C. Mattress cover and encasement.
The outer casement of our mattress is constructed using a non skid bottom material to keep the mattress from shifting. The side panels are a high quality Quilted material unlike most competitor’s covers. This feature also gives us the ability to put the zipper on top of the mattress for a much easier removal for washing.

Our covers come in two options.
1. An Innofa material, it offers innate benefits like anti-microbial, anti-fungal, Anti-dust mite and all with an environmentally friendly finish
2. A 100% Australian wool cover. Most people perceive wool as a hot, itchy material. The truth is our wool is a soft, healthy material that absorbs 30%of its weight in moisture without feeling wet, it wicks away perspiration all night long, keeping you dry while you sleep.
